Samwell padded through vaguely familiar territory. He had met one wolf here, Lykos, who had saved him from a few aggressive loners. His pack, Vektren, still lived here, and Sam remembered them not being too friendly. But he needed to pass through the area, so he stayed a good distance from the border, though still he was painfully aware of the fact he was still within sight of it. He could only hope that no Vektreni noticed him so close, and if they did then he would be far enough away that they wouldn’t bother to check him out. Although he was getting better at fighting, it was still not at all his preference.
Shiru
Shiru was outside of Vektrens borders walking without any real goal in mind. Sometimes it was nice to clean your mind completely from everything and just enjoy the air, the landscape and silence. Somewhere in the distance birds were chirping their autumn song or shrieking in the sky at each other for whatever reason.
